YingYang wrote a post starring my boobs my jealousy-inspiring Obama tank top.  I’m tickled senseless by that, as well as by her Lesbians in Banks post, and I love the images she captured of our extra-rainy November.

The Bajan Reporter responded to my post Joys of Tropical Fabrics, where I mentioned how hard it is to keep anything from being bleached by the Grenadian sun, from the hair on my head to the leather on my slippers.  He says, in part:  “Got news for you Ms. Santiago, in the tropics? The Sun does bleach EB’BA-T’ING (everything)!”

The Bajan Reporter writes well-informed posts about Grenada, listed here.  Of particular note are these two articles below.  Both focus on interesting and important issues that I have neither the stomach nor the knowledge to blog about myself.  The titles speak for themselves:

Grenada Tourism Minister Supports Controversial Land Deal Despite Tillman Thomas Administration Having Second Thoughs

Grenada’s Lagoon Battle Steps Up: Port Louis Enhances Diving Attractions While Citizens Lament Poor Relocations and Environmental Concerns

The illustrious Afrobella mentioned one of my tweets in her post Top Five Classic Christmas Covers.  This lady knows her music, and doesn’t disappoint with her video choices.  At first I was surprised she didn’t include Jack Johnson’s Someday at Christmas, which she’d previously posted on Twitter, except – duh – it’s not a cover.  It’s a beautiful, haunting song that I’d never heard before.

Also worth your time ->  Afrobella’s lovely and heartfelt dedication to Eartha Kitt

Last but not least, lilalia of Yum Yum Café reminisces about her many Christmases in Grenada, with a particular emphasis on the music, and credits me for sparking memories of the music that plays on the radio and in the shops.  Which is exactly what I love to hear.
