two florida ballots

Mom and I cast our absentee ballots last week. Happily we did not encounter any of the issues I’ve heard others have had when voting from abroad, though we did spend a ridiculous amount of money at FedEx. Three trips were necessary. The first to get us registered. The second to have our absentee ballots shipped from Green Cove Springs. The third to submit them to the Clay County Supervisor of Elections. Like I told Mom, though, I need to be able to truthfully tell my grandchildren I voted in this election.
