Letters from Grenada

My beautiful, loving and faithful Macbook is out of commission at the moment. This is, in my personal little universe, a tragedy of epic proportions.

I could blame it on the toddler, the one who (allegedly) dropped it. But, in truth, we can blame me, the mommy, who - had she not been insanely hungover - could have protected her baby from her baby.

Alternatively, we can blame the old French guy who gave me a shot of Pear moonshine. But I should have known better drink anything from a bottle labeled with computer-printed mailing sticker. (It said, simply, Poire 2006, but it should have said L’eau de feu de l’enfer.)

Finally, we can briefly consider blaming the post I was writing about Kathleen Parker (and how much I respect her), but even I don’t believe God hates Republicans enough to punish me for trying to be nice to one.

The point of all this is that I was in the middle of six or seven different blog posts that will now be abandoned because I can’t access them. Hopefully, my masterplan to geek out and fix the Macbook myself will be successful. Until then, I leave you with this, the funniest Obama-related meme I have come across in my endless amblings across the internet.
