more soca
Here’s a playlist I found on imeem.com of soca from Spicemas Grenada 2008, also known as Carnival.
If you’re only going to listen to three of these tracks, they should be:
Track 2: “Blame the Rum” by Lavaman,
Track 6: “Sapodilla” by some guy whose name escapes me at the moment, and
Track 17: “Ah Little Whine” by Brother B, probably the most popular song this year.
In the video below, he’s performing at the 10 to 10 Fête.
