Amazing, could this be a record? Also, how did it taste?
I see a cross in the background, maybe this is how they get people to come to mass.

Pelau has always reminded me of a cross between paella and really good Chinese fried rice. It's my favorite Grenadian dish, especially when it's made without bones!

Holy crap. There aren't many times in life when you can say, "I have never seen anything like that." That is totally, unbelievably awesome.

The thing I love about this is not simply the insane size, which is pretty cool. But it's what the size indicates. That there are 500 people TO FEED. That it's not unreasonable to have 500 hungry people in one place.

We live in what is conceivably the whitest city in Canada. Our family all lives between 200 and 3000 miles away. I couldn't round up 500 people if I had a gun to my head, and I think that's sad. It's really cool to know that somewhere out there, massive crowds of people are chowing down on paella together.
